Winter hats hold as much spirit power as baseball caps

Sports fans all over the country embraced the baseball cap a long time ago. Once a symbol of a specific sport and reserved only for baseball players, the baseball cap has become part of the sports fan’s uniform. Football teams, basketball organizations and even hockey teams have emblazoned their logos, symbols and mascots on baseball caps for fans to wear.

However, a baseball cap isn’t always practical. When the sun is shining and you need to catch a pop-up, the brim is a welcome barrier between your eyes and the sun. When the weather is cold and your ears are likely to freeze off of your head, it’s a different story. That situation calls for something slightly more useful. Fortunately, spirit items and promotional products live on into the winter.

Promotional beanies and personalized knit hats offer the same level of proof that a person loves a sports team while keeping them healthy and warm. There’s plenty of time to wear a baseball cap once the sun starts shining again, but for the time being, something warm will have to do. Now is the perfect time to begin designing and ordering knit caps so they’ll be in stock once the leaves start falling and the traditional hats come off.

Some promotional products have one purpose – raise spirits

There are countless sports fans waiting patiently in front of their television sets waiting for their favorite games to start. Organizations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston and Texas appreciate the enthusiasm that their fans show them, but they have enough money, advertising power and history to get along just fine with what they already have.

Local teams and colleges aren't necessarily so lucky. Millions of people might not see their games every weekend and it's probably not very likely that huge advertising companies are competing to see which organization they'll endorse. Unfortunately, sometimes all these folks have to go on is the goodwill and energy of the fans in the stands.

That's why spirit items such as thunder sticks are so important. Thunder sticks create such a racket that the home team gets a boost from knowing that their supporters are emotionally invested in their success. The opposing teams may be frightened by the deafening roar emanating from the stands and may make a mistake that could cost them the entire match. Most importantly, thunder sticks are a reminder to fans that their favorite team may not have a case full of trophies or the money to sign the top players in a game, but they can certainly count on support from the people in the stadium.

Stadium cups are tools, spirit items and souvenirs all at once

Some people fill their kitchen cabinets with lovely sets of elegant glasses. Even if they were purchased from a discount department store, the drink receptacles are part of a unified series of glasses that belong together and match the plates, forks, bowls and spoons in that same kitchen. However, most of us don't subscribe to this pattern.

Instead, a lot of folks have a random assortment of cups and glasses. When guests come over and ask for a drink of water, they're treated to a choice between a travel mug, a chipped teacup, an old mason jar and a plastic stadium cup. In fact, there's a good chance that there are many stadium cups or other souvenir cups in most kitchen cabinets, and there are many reasons why.

Promotional stadium cups are perfect souvenirs of a trip to any sort of sporting event. Emblazoned with the logo or mascot of a beloved sports team, stadium cups show family, roommates and guests which team a person supports. They also probably are connected to a story about a fascinating match, a breathtaking play or an exciting series to which the cup's owner was able to bear witness .

A promotional blanket gives comfort and warmth

Something as simple as a thick, soft piece of plastic doesn’t seem as if it would be such an effective promotional product. After all – there are promotional electronics, spirit items, personalized toys, calendars and other sophisticated products that can be branded with a company’s logo, name or image. However, there are so many ways to use a promotional blanket that they may, in fact, be some of the most versatile promotional products in which a company can invest.

Consider their primary function – to provide warmth. Immediately, they become beloved possessions that keep you cozy when the weather is cold. There’s a level of intimacy that goes along with sleep, so a blanket that has been emblazoned with a sports team’s logo will be beloved by children, fanatical fans or even people who are casually interested in a university or professional organization.

However, there are many other uses for blankets that go beyond wrapping yourself in them. Warm weather calls for outdoor activities, and blankets are great for lounging around on a nice day. Trips to the beach aren’t complete without a big blanket to lay on, and it wouldn’t be a picnic if you had a meal right on the grass. These occasions will increase brand awareness or school spirit because so many people will see the promotional blanket and take note of how much fun the owners are having with it.
